Great OutDoor Ministry’s next trip will be Saturday August 18th to the Coosa River in Wetumpka, AL. This trip is a 3-4 hour river trip. We will depart at 7:45 a.m. and return around late afternoon/early evening. 

Deadline to sign up is Tuesday August 14th at 5:00 p.m.  You can register and pay at fumcdothan.org

Cost:       Single Kayak- $29

                Tandem Kayak- $49

*Qualifications for this trip:

You must be able to swim

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

Understand basic canoeing/kayaking skills

(For the safety of everyone; in order to participate on this trip you must meet the qualifications for the trip as stated above, trip leadership reserves the right to determine participates ability level for said trip)

What do we need on the river?

Appropriate dress for swimming/sunning, sun screen.  Your snacks/drinks, litter bags and water shoes. 

NO GLASS ON THE RIVER!!! 

We will eat lunch on the river so pack accordingly.
