Christmas with The Harbor

Christmas with The Harbor is a ministry effort that has grown out of the FUMC Youth Ministry. There was a great desire to provide Christmas gifts for The Harbor children who were otherwise unable to have Christmas gifts.

We raise the money through donations and our Fundraising Dinner called “A Meal and Merry Melodies” which will be held on Wednesday, December 5th, in the Fellowship Hall of our church. Our students will use the money to go shopping as a group and buy all of the gifts on one night. They will have shopping lists that are collected by The Harbor over the next few weeks. The following Sunday afternoon, December 9th, we will need help wrapping gifts. We will set up lots of tables and needs lots of help to wrap all of the gifts.

On Wednesday, December 19th, we will have all of the children and their families join us for dinner at FUMC where we will have a meal together, hear the Christmas story, and distribute the gifts to the children.
